Innovative mulch film, made from cornstarch offers an environmentally friendly option for larger growers, commercial farms, flower nurseries and market gardens.

This product has been developed as a natural replacement for black plastic, which breaks down, leaving microplastics in the soil. This cornstarch material will biodegrade between 4 - 8 months (or longer) depending on variables like weather and how lively the soil is. 

As well as being a more environmentally friendly weed blocker, it also saves costs of cleaning up and disposing of black plastic. Made from cornstarch, it looks like plastic - but it isn't. The film like material prevents weeds and moderates soil temperatures. It is compliant with EN13432 European biodegradable and compostable standards.

The film can be applied by hand or with a machine, suitable for both flat and raised beds.
