We have planted a whole bed of sweetcorn using the paper mulch. As an experiment and because I didn't have any at the time, we decided not to cover it all with topsoil, instead just making sure that all the edges were securely weighed down. It's been much easier to see how the paper retains water, keeping the soil underneath moist in between showers. Shop all paper mulches.
